Raoul Dufy

Raoul Dufy, born on June 3, 1877 in Le Havre, France, was a French artist known for his vibrant and colourful works, particularly in the realm of Fauvism, and later as a prominent member of the School of Paris.

He was greatly influenced by the works of Henri Matisse and the Fauvist movement, which rejected traditional artistic conventions in favour of expressive and vivid colours.
