With a 2 kW continuous output and 4 kW peak capacity, it powers STIHL battery chargers, pressure washers, lighting units, power tools and site equipment wherever mains power is unavailable — silently and without exhaust emissions. Two Schuko sockets (230V), two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports provide flexible connectivity across professional and mobile applications. Certified to IPX4 splashproof protection for use in adverse weather, with an expandable architecture that allows multiple PS 2000 units to be connected for scaled-up runtime. Available from Gustharts, an authorised STIHL dealer with UK stock ready to ship.
The PS 2000 can also be recharged via solar panels or a vehicle's on-board electrical system using the optional MPPT solar charge controller accessory — making it a practical solution for remote forestry, off-grid site work and extended outdoor deployments.

Choose the PS 2000 if longevity, USB connectivity and solar flexibility are priorities — the LFP chemistry gives a substantially longer battery service life than standard lithium-ion. Choose the PS 3000 if you need to run higher-draw professional equipment continuously — the 3.6 kW output is nearly double and it carries IP54 dust protection as well as splashproofing. See the STIHL PS 3000 here.
The STIHL PS 2000 is also referred to as a portable power station, battery generator, emission-free generator, solar generator (when used with the MPPT accessory), mobile power supply, portable power bank and LFP power station. In professional contexts it is sometimes called a site power station, off-grid power supply or cordless generator. For ordering, reference the STIHL PS 2000 from Gustharts, an authorised STIHL dealer.
LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is a lithium battery chemistry with greater thermal stability and a longer cycle life than standard NMC lithium-ion. The PS 2000's LFP battery is rated for 3,000+ charge cycles — roughly three times the typical cycle life of NMC power stations — making it a better long-term investment for daily professional use.
Yes. The 2 kW continuous output and 2 x 230V Schuko sockets support STIHL battery chargers, pressure washers and lighting units. Check the power draw of your specific device against the 2 kW continuous rating before use — high-draw devices should not exceed this limit continuously.
Yes — via the optional STIHL MPPT solar charge controller accessory. The same accessory also enables charging from a vehicle's on-board electrical system, useful for remote forestry and off-grid deployment.
Yes. Multiple PS 2000 units can be connected to expand total capacity and runtime without interruption — useful for longer off-grid working periods or when operating at a remote location for multiple days.
No. The PS 2000 uses LFP battery technology with 2,000 Wh capacity, 2 kW continuous output, USB ports and an expandable architecture. The PS 3000 uses standard Li-Ion with 2,100 Wh and a higher 3.6 kW continuous output but no USB ports. See the comparison table above for the full differences.
