Also before we fire on the sketch we glaze our porcelain clay with a soft transparent glaze, this allows each piece to have their own unique character, the glazed surface may have a crackle to it at times, this is dependent on the thickness of the glaze and where the piece is fired in the kiln. The tone of each piece is always slightly different, but we feel these nuances add to their overall charm, as you can read from our customer reviews!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOur large wooden pieces are also made to order, and again due to the totally unique grain in each piece they are all quite different, which makes them all the more beautiful.
